48 GB VRAM = 12 * 2 GB * 2 (memory chips on both sides of the PCB (aka clamshell VRAM design), like in workstation cards, like a RTX PRO 5000).
72 GB VRAM = 12 * 3 GB * 2 (clamshell VRAM design).

If it has a 500 Watt TDP, I'm not interested. I didn't like RTX 4090' 450 W already, let alone 5090' 575W (same process node = energy efficiency, just linearly scaled up from 4090).
