A Reddit user spent more than a week extensively testing Valve's Steam Machine, trying out over 60 games from a wide range of genres. His detailed assessment is largely positive, although he also identifies several shortcomings that prevent the device from delivering a fully console-like experience.

Gotta love this sort of manufactured consensus vehicled by a paid influencer.

Not saying the Steam Machine is crap, it's the disguised publicity pushing 'facts' on socials that bothers me - Valve certainly is not the only company guilty of this.

Not really sure this is a glowing review. I can't ever remember needing to adjust my PS5's settings/performance just to play a game successfully.

These are different times. Might as well build a PC versus this hacked together, poorly-timed release.

Why would I get a PC where the hardware is sup-par and has been nerfed for some economic reason?
