An independent researcher's post-restoration test claims Anthropic's Fable 5 helped plan an IoT botnet attack using a hypothetical framing, while rival models reportedly refused. This raises fresh questions about the model's safety guardrails, especially after its reinstation on July 1.

Not only will there never be appropriate guardrails to prevent cyberattacks going forward, there will be full models with no barriers to scan unauthorized networks from many vendors.   The gates are open, and they won't be closed.  Best be very, very careful online from here on out.
