Made in Germany, with an operating system from Switzerland and a focus on data protection and repairable hardware – that's how the Punkt. MC03 aims to set itself apart from the competition. However, the smartphone is relatively expensive given its specs.

Too high price. Just buy Pixel 8, Pixel 9 or Pixel 10, flash GrapheneOS yourself and save hundreds.

The only thing going for it is the microsd card slot and compact size. with Pixels you get longer support, faster hardware, better cameras, more RAM and higher battery capacity.

Still, nice to see some more alternatives and options in the privacy mobile space.

3 years of updates is redicious. This segment/price (expensive mid range phone for governments/the hipster crowd) I would be expecting them to be market leaders and offer 8 years at least of os updates and 10y security.

You'd think they want to stand out to get some traction (like Nothing Phone with the glyph).
