The Oura Ring 5 is 40 percent more compact than its predecessor and is said to offer greater comfort and a battery life of six to nine days. However, iFixit's teardown video shows that the ring is essentially electronic waste once the battery reaches the end of its life.

My wife and I have the Gen4 rings. She's gone through 3 replacements in under 2 years. Seems to be continual battery issues. Supposed to last 5 days and she can barely get a day on a charge. Mine hasn't had any issues so far thankfully!
