Title: Much-needed good news for PC gamers: Next-gen RDNA 5 GPUs could launch earlier than expected

It was expected that both AMD and Nvidia would hold off on their next-gen gaming GPU launches until 2028. However, it now appears that AMD has had a change of heart, as the company could launch the RDNA 5 graphics card in 2027.

Will believe it when I see it. Doesn't make very much sense to me.

Lisa Su is full on AI kool aid juice, why would they need to come back to consumer business when they can continue to serve the much more lucrative ai data center market for as long as possible?

And even if they did, it's always the same, extreme limited volume most expensive dies first (end of 2027?), then 1 year later rdna5 successors to the 9060 XT and another year after that for halo apus. Because nobody cares about the budget range anymore.

Yeah, I could see that happening. Possible and depressing. HardwareUnboxed / GamersNexus did a great collab video recently explaining the situation.
