Title: 14 fps gaming surpasses MacBook Neo: AMD's marketing fires misleading shots at Apple
Post by: Redaktion on June 15, 2026, 21:56:00
The Apple MacBook Neo seems to be giving AMD a headache, as the manufacturer's latest advertising campaign aims to show that laptops with AMD Ryzen are far superior to the budget MacBook. However, this marketing is misleading in many respects.

Incredible. They've managed to make an ad which makes me want to avoid them. lol.

at least people know, nobody gets a mac for gaming.

How is it possible PlayStation does a better job at marketing AMDs own pc architecture?

Honestly, funny stuff. I'd agree that nobody purchases a Mac to play Video Games.

I'd be willing to wager that for some the selling point is to NOT be part of the Windows ecosystem.

Surely while the Neo does have its build quality along with some technical limitations at a fairly low price point, it would be interesting to see how well or not OTHER systems at the same price point stack up.

As mentioned AMD has its Ryzen5 lineup and Intel has its i3/i5 & "Celeron" (and other) low cost product lines.
