The Poco X8 Pro Max offers significantly higher peak performance than the X8 Pro, particularly in CPU, GPU, and AI tasks. Under continuous load, however, the advantage is diminished by strong throttling, while the X8 Pro operates more consistently but more slowly. Is the Max actually worth it, then?
