It's everywhere in the news, but real people's comments are very negative.
People are tired of the AI bullshit and nobody reasonable wants their laptop to be driven by it.
I have an X2 Elite laptop and the battery life isn't great. I'm not sure they're much more efficient than e.g. Panther Lake. A bit faster but... eh. Not sure ARM is worth the hype.

The A16. It's worse than 70WHr Intel laptop I have (with 226V). Admittedly, the CPU could be faster. But people have these magical expectations about ARM that simply aren't true in my experience for average use.

LNL is probably one of the most power efficient x86 SoCs ever made. ;) So yeh, I can see not being that impressed if comparing to that. Especially if it's using a lower resolution IPS or something compared to the 3k 120hz oled on your A16.
A16 isn't the efficient laptop but I am unsure as to why. Idles around 5w-8w according to testing on this site, PTL can power down as low as 1.3w. I can only think of asus software firmware being bad or it's that more power hungry display panel..
