Asus has announced the new ProArt P16, P14 laptops, meant to rival the MacBook Pro. They are powered by the Nvidia RTX Spark superchip, with up to 128GB of unified memory. The creative workstation laptops deliver 1 petaflop of AI performance for local generative AI agents, 120B-parameter LLMs, and large-scale 3D rendering.

These are going to cost forever damn expensive and they can't be bothered to add 10-key?

No thanks, for that price I would rather buy M5 max for $4000. If they price the 32gb variant for $1000 then it will be a winner

No one who buys good laptops wants that.

Interesting people mentioning price here when there's been no mention of it in this article.

It's a new market for them. They're aiming for 10 million volume. Its success relies on adoption and being embraced by the community, so that even more apps are natively ported/optimized for AArch64 that creates a feedback loop of even more people investing in the platform.

I think they'll have to be a bit more realistic and sensitive to pricing. At least, I expect more memory for the money compared to M5 max or similar amount of memory for a bit less.

I just hope it pushes down the prices of arc b390 and 8060s laptops.

Care to explain why?

All the comments, as of the time of this comment are spot on...

What's also missing is that the RTX isn't much of anything new...it's a slightly faster DTX.

THATS IT.

Nothing else of value nor import is coming here people.

The only way forward is to drop RAM prices.

I don't get the comments on cost.

ThinkPad X9 15p Aura Edition, 32GB ram, 1TB SSD, Core Ultra X7 358H with Arc B390 graphics is £3230.00.

Legion Strix Halo still hasn't launched but it's looking like £2500+ minimum, so not cheap either.

I'm not surprised by Nvidia's pricing, they've always been just like Apple. I'm genuinely surprised by Intel's and AMD's pricing though. They're charging Apple/Nvidia level money.
