Aoostar are considered absolute scammers. Bought a NAS from them and returned for a refund. The order was not opened. Full tracking information provided to Aoostar confirming they received the order back and, several months later, no refund issued. Very broken communication from them including claiming the agent originally replying (as and when they chose to do so) left the company. Despite this they've cut off all communication. Please save yourselves the hassle buying products from Aoostar. Honestly believed to be an absolutely disgusting company to deal with.
Haven't had the displeasure of trying to get a refund from them, I hear this is largely a hit or miss from many cheap Chinese brands of mini PCs however.
I have an older R1 with N100 CPU, it's sturdy and does what I expect to - Aoostar is now competing against Ugreen, Terramaster, Minisforum and the like in the NAS barebones field, and it may mean lower quality of customer service to keep profits up.
