RPG Maker U2U is announced with "Perspective 2D" maps, maintaining the simplicity of top-down 2D RPG design with modern flair inspired by "HD 2D" titles like Octopath Traveler. 2D assets from previous RPG Makers can still be used for these maps, and the game ships with 100 "ready-to-use" P2D maps as well.
