OpenAI is developing an "AI" smartphone featuring a custom MediaTek SoC, designed to replace traditional app-based interfaces with AI agents. According to the latest info, mass production is now targeted for early 2027 to capture the premium AI device market.

DOA - Nothing gong to be new here that existing manufacturers can't copy and do better them selves.

Might as well buy a Trump phone and call it a day.

It's just a branding job applied to a generic Android phone, the rest is a big smoke & mirror show of marketing buzz words.
