Sure the bare bones M2 is $575 but once you add ram and an nvme on their side it jumps up to $1039.00.
QuoteIntel Panther Lake mini PC with eGPU support under $600 runs Cyberpunk 2077 at up to 50 FPS
The headline is a bit unlucky. It reads as if the mini pc is using eGPU support to achieve 50 fps at Cyberpunk. But it only uses its iGPU. It's correctly written in the article, but the headline is still ambiguous.
Apart from that the 50 fps are only achieved with Upscaling-Balanced. Please note, that he is using XESS 2.0, on which "Balanced" means 960x540 (from 1920x1080). Which is pretty low. That also means without any "tricks" it would probably only achieve 25 fps.
I really dislike how the real native performance is covered with "tricks" like Upscaling or Frame Generation. While I do appreciate these features, it should not be used by comparison videos. It makes it really hard to estimate its real power and compare with other hardware.
