The Sony Xperia 1 VIII is apparently thicker than advertised, as new measurements show. Sony may have measured the smartphone at its thinnest point, giving an unrealistic impression of its actual thickness - an approach that has also been observed with other smartphone manufacturers.

get your fact straight! 8.59mm minus 8.30mm = 0.259mm, not 2.59mm !!

No, both are wrong: 8,59 - 8,30 = 0,29. Thats super easy math. What are you smoking :D
