Title: Samsung might have canceled the most popular Galaxy folding phone, says leak
Post by: Redaktion on May 17, 2026, 13:59:33
Galaxy Z Flip 9 canceled? A new supply chain leak on Weibo suggests the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 could be the final entry in Samsung's clamshell foldable series. Driven by design stagnation, surging component costs, and a market shift toward book-style foldables, Samsung may be moving away from the flip-phone form factor.

"a market shift towards book-styled foldables"
How can it be a market shift when the market is non-existant ?
There's no Fold Wide or iPhone Ultra in the market right now.
It makes me remember about the last "market shift" towards slim phones last year like Galaxy Edge or iPhone Air that were failures.
