Lenovo has updated its ThinkStation series. Based around the AMD PRO 675 chipset, the ThinkStation P4 will be available with AMD's new Ryzen 9 Pro 9965X3D processor and up to 256 GB of DDR5 RAM. A powerful Nvidia GPU will provide up to 96 GB VRAM, too.

Any AM5 mainstream B850 motherboard supports up to 256 GB RAM. And this is not even quad-channel either, but dual-channel/2*64-bit/128-bit, just like the midrange B850 is:

The 96 GB VRAM consisting of a single GPU, instead of 2 * 48GB VRAM GPUs, is good, on the other hand. Especially the option to be able to choose the 300W Max-Q variant. But why not offer the option of being able to choose 2 RTX 6000 PRO Max-Qs, that would make the system/offering at least somewhat special.
