Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, its new 4nm chipsets designed for mid-range and budget smartphones. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 introduces Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 but surprisingly downgrades to USB 2.0. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 brings a 77% GPU boost and 4K video recording to the entry-level segment, but loses LPDDR5 support. Controversial?
