While Valve hasn't officially revealed the Steam Machine's price or release date yet, recent import records suggest that the company may be getting ready for a launch.

That is most likely just 30k steam decks. Or If it is steam machines it's only 14-19k of them. Just unfortunate

Yeah, considering the steam controller is already sold out everywhere and that isn't even linked to ram or storage. It's going to be pretty brutal.

I suspect similar to the first 6+ months of the deck launch, where only people with bots or scalpers having access. And the rest of us, just watching yet another slow-mo paper launch in real-time.

I don't think it's gonna be more decks either. Why would they call it something so generic like "game console". It's not like the deck is secret anymore that needs to remain hidden for a surprise, they could just label the shipment manifests as steam deck supply. This has to be something new. At least I hope don't ruin it for me and jinx everything. xD

After seeing the controller I just can't get too excited about their console. I'm more interested in project Helix than in this new valve hardware. I think helix will have a much bigger influence in the long run.
