Title: To avoid GTA 6 release date delay, Rockstar employee leaks unrealistic demands in review
Post by: Redaktion on May 04, 2026, 03:50:28
A leak has provided rare insight into the atmosphere of a Rockstar studio ahead of the GTA 6 release date. A Glassdoor job review from a QA analyst highlights extended hours with claims of unpaid overtime. Conditions have worsened over the past month in order to sidestep a third delay.

Rockstar will be milking this game for next 10-15 years for insane profit generation. Yeah they are under pressure to release GTA 6 very soon but it would be nice (and humane) that they pay their workers atleast overtime allowances.

Dude, I sure hope your comment was intended as a sarcastic commentary on work compensation. But in case it is not - minimum wage is a super low bar to compare to. Overtime should be compensated appropriately.

Another delay would be so devastating.... It would be sad brother.... There are literally people buying ps5 pros, brand new massive TV's, preparing for November to play GTA 6... adding more time, would be crushing NGL 😂😂 I think rockstar is aware.... Gotta get it finished before November....no matter what

Supposedly Gabe said: "Delay is temporary, suck is forever.". Obv, some content can be delivered in a patch if it can't be delivered by the set date. But it's also a question how the people are going to react if some content will be delayed to a patch after official release.

PS: Opening cases is gambling, Gabe.

AI never complains as much as these guys!! I guess, time for AI to do the work for far more cheap with quick results lol 😆 😂.

Jokes aside, I completely disagree with that employee!! Work is work, they get paid so much to make games!! Plus, their titles are the biggest in the history of gaming. So, you cant keep up! Take time off or find another game studio to work for.

Well if people are going out buying PS5 Pros and brand new TVs just to play a game in November...that's pathetic and all on them...if it's delayed, so be it, it's just a game, time for people to grow up
