Title: 5 notebooks with nicer-looking bottoms from the last 365 days
Post by: Redaktion on May 04, 2026, 00:09:53
Notebookcheck reviews hundreds of laptops every year. Some review units earn extra points for features not found elsewhere, or delivering higher-than-average performance, or being easier on the user's eyes. It's the last category that gets some spotlight today.

I question your taste. The gigabyte looks awful the razer looks better but still loses to my xps 15 from 2019. The MacBook looks fine but I don't see what's distinguished about "solid flat surface with feet"?

Quotewhere's the other two

The A18 Pro, A16 and A16 Pro are different laptops that were grouped together as their bottom panels look almost identical. Please excuse me for the confusion. Updated.

QuoteThe gigabyte looks awful

Here are two examples of what I personally believe looks unsightly:

Your average bottom panel design comes with lots of small holes. This does not look impressive or rememberable.
