Nah, I much prefer Windows. At least with Windows, you can build .NET applications with MS Visual Studio. And you can also use it permanently offline, the computer will never see the internet so updates will never be forced onto you, nor will MS be able to spy on you. Knowing Google, their OS will absolutely not function without internet connection. And I don't think it will be a trivial task to do casual programming or coding on it.
Googles answer to MacOS & iOS
Can't even imagine what they'll cost. The recent S tablet lineup is horrendously expensive.
Sweet! Getting rid of Wintel and adopting Android/Linux open source OS works great with the millions of available Android and Linux apps, running natively, instead of the WoA nightmare...
I don't understand why Samsung doesn't just their own Exynos 2600/2700 in laptops.
Exynos doesn't have the best modems and under heavy loads aren't as efficient, making them not suitable for smartphones. In a bigger laptop chassis with more thermal headroom they'd do well.
Qualcomm charge an arm and leg for their SoCs. It would be cheaper, not that Samsung would reduce prices. But hell, I don't get why they don't open up their SoCs to other OEMs. Perhaps maybe someone like OnePlus could get into making laptops with Exynos chip.

I'm not sure it's that sweet of a deal considering the general direction android is heading to. Google is making it more locked down, privacy invasive and less Linux like as time goes on..
Something like an exynos 2600 in a MacBook neo like form factor with more ram, proper AMD GPU drivers running steamOS/bazzite would blow the neo out of the water.
Is Samsung retarded? No vision at all. They'll probably decide to start copying apple after the 4th gen neo release. lol.
Great use of AI slop here
Copying a rumor and reporting it as real is the best work possible you can do
