It looks like the launch of new Microsoft Surface PCs is right around the corner. While Microsoft has not begun teasing anything just yet, the Surface Pro 12 has emerged with a choice of Intel Panther Lake processors. Surprisingly, the new Surface Pro appears set to launch with 24 GB of RAM, unlike its predecessors.

24GB minimum? This thing is going to be outrageously expensive.

The detachable keyboard has a very high failure rate due to the pogo pin type connection. Even the Magic keyboard draws power thru the pogo pin connection. A big improvement for this was elected but seems unlikely. I had to change 3 keyboards in 4 years. Very high maintenance cost.

I had (and still have) a pro 5, or 6. great little device. the Asus zflow looks like a really nice replacement, especially for the price comparison.
