Title: OnePlus 15T Review: Incredible battery life makes the compact smartphone competition pale in comparison
Post by: Redaktion on April 29, 2026, 05:51:11
The much handier and cheaper alternative to the OnePlus 15 comes with the best hardware and an XXL battery — more than 2x as large than that of the Apple iPhone 17. In this review, we see whether the OnePlus 15T is worth buying or whether it makes sense to opt for the flagship OnePlus 15 instead.

It's a bit odd that you've not mentioned that OnePlus is closing its operations here in Europe. They've already fired and closed their office here in Denmark.

QuoteTypically, a OnePlus 15 should receive security updates for six years.
If even in 2026, devices with A78 cores come out and get 6 years of software support. Imagine how long devices with cores in this Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 would get based on that? Someone wants to calculate that (ignore battery life as an argument not to give more than 6 years)? EU, time to be useful again and force makers to offer at least 1-2 models with extended 10 years of software support and easily replaceable battery.

PS: Dumb anti-spam protection doesn't allow posting when the word "ph()nes" (replaced the 0 with ()) or "smartph()nes" was used, so I used "devices".
