The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Electric Water Heater C 60L has arrived in China. Currently available to pre-order, this new model is said to be both fast and energy efficient. Plus, it can be controlled via the brand's app or with voice commands.

China is the technological utopia the Western world wants to be.

If this device were reliable and available in the U.S., it would upend the hot water industry. Am I missing something why we have nothing like this here in the states at this price level?!
