M$ needs to give up on the storefront for PC , steam has already won that battle a long time ago. Not interested in the device if it has limitations. Not a real PC.

A gaming PC without Steam is an expensive paperweight.

Surely Microsoft would not be foolish enough to release such a thing?

I feel like people are overestimating the steam angle and underestimating Microsoft.

Rest assured, it will flop with or without steam. Allow me to demonstrate by past example(s):

Exhibit A): WinOnArm Snapdragon X Elite laptops - flopped. They didn't block steam store here - it is installable.

Exhibit B): ROG Xbox Ally X - flopped. They didn't block steam front here either - still installable, didn't help much though.
