Microsoft's Windows 11 KB5083769 April 2026 update causes critical boot failures, pixelated BSODs, and BitLocker recovery loops on Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 PCs.

This update is also causing AutoDESK products (such as AutoCAD) to freeze upon start-up.

AutoDESK advise uninstalling this update via update history, and pausing updates for a week or two, which does fix the issue, but obviously does not allow other updates to load when paused.

Yeah... It's not nice that M$ doesn't let people choose to pause just a certain update.

Anyway, yet another reason for more people to slowly ditch Windows for Linux.
