Vaio has released updated Vaio SX14-R (VJS4R2) ultralight laptops, with Intel Ultra Series 3 processors. The sub-1kg laptops feature faster CPUs and SSDs, enhanced CoPilot+ AI performance, and carbon fiber bodies.

When are they going to update the touchpad to industry standards without buttons?

Some prefer buttons.  Clicks are less likely to become drags when working in a moving vehicle.
Or with shaky hands.  Or on shaking buildings.

Even without buttons, you can still have a clickable touchpad.  Macs have had them forever -- my 2010 Macbook Pro had a buttonless trackpad that could still be configured to require clicking, but didn't require it.
