Title: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 test results question its existence
Post by: Redaktion on April 21, 2026, 21:13:40
AMD launched the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 at $900, which is $200 more than the Ryzen 9 9950X3D's launch price. Performance tests are now indicating that the new CPU doesn't offer the performance gains that would be worth the price increase.

Moronic test, these guys should know better. There is very few software that any regular user wou,ld use that benefits from even more v-cache. This is a HEDT class cpu and those that need this will know exactly where it will perform a lot better than even the X3D version. For example fluid dynamics software like OpenFOAM love cache and will be a lot faster with 2x the v-cache.

Only a fool thinks this cpu is for regular desktops or gaming. HUB tests are utterly irrelevant and pointless.
