The pirate trend in video games is showing no signs of slowing down in 2026, and it has now reached the city-building genre as well. With Corsair Cove, Limbic Entertainment has announced a new city-builder in which a pirate settlement is built upward along cliffs and rock faces. GameStar editor and YouTuber Maurice Weber has even called it "one of the most original city-building games in a long time." The game is scheduled for release in 2026.
