Oppo has revealed the key specifications for its upcoming compact tablet, dubbed the Pad Mini. Powered by the admirable Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM, the 8.8-inch Pad Mini measures in at just 5.39-mm thick and weighs just under 280 grams or 9.88 ounces.

as a RedMagic Astra owner, big fan of the slimmer bezels on this (and OLED, precious few tablets seemed to have it when I went shopping) but shame there's a hole punch given that I think media consumption is the #1 use for a device like this

But can you use it to make a phone call?

Otherwise it's just another tablet with little differentiation.
