There are no known humans that don't have microplastics, literally there's no way to have a control group.
This invention is pointless.
That's a fair point, but even without a true control group, comparing different exposure levels could still help show whether microplastics are linked to specific health effects. Isn't that still worth investigating?

Well, I guess it's cool to know the effects of microplastic poisoning. We can't fight it, as it's currently even in our brains, but... Heck, why not.
Ok so it confirms there are microplastics in your body, then what?
Nothing can be done about it, it will just make you even more anxious.
