Title: Claude Code leak: Researchers find first vulnerability
Post by: Redaktion on April 07, 2026, 02:41:37
Shortly after an accidental source code leak, a critical vulnerability was discovered in the AI coding agent called Claude Code. It potentially allows attackers to bypass security safeguards and steal sensitive data from developers.

Sounds like a scam. They asked AI, how can we get traction with your sloppy code?

Step 1: Leak my code onto the internet through a hidden 3rd party.

Step 2: Give a small time window for code to propagate around the internet.

Step 3: Delete, delete, sue, sue.

Step 4: Capitalize on the storm of free publicity both negative and positive.

Any further questions I can assist you with today?
