Title: "Pure magic": Jon L. Noble plays World of Warcraft with his thoughts
Post by: Redaktion on March 26, 2026, 15:33:51
Jon L. Noble, one of the British participants in Neuralink's clinical trial, describes his first 100 days with the N1 implant as "science fiction" that has become part of everyday life. Particularly remarkable is his statement that he can now even play World of Warcraft using his thoughts. Golem reported on the case on March 25, referring to Noble's own X post from March 22.

If you're a paraplegerino I can see where this technology would be alluring. For me, the day I give Elon Musk direct unfettered access to my brain is the day Russian roulette is declared an olympic sport.

I suppose when these things go mainstream NeuraLink will be legally required to give the FBI access to your 'secure' NeuraLink profile and telemetry data which will only be used to help improve NeuraLink and nothing else like selling your sexual fantasies to the Embracer Group.

I'll stick with the mouse and keyboard, thanks.
