Title: Paramount set to own Warner Brothers after "superior" bid over Netflix agreement

Paramount Skydance upped the ante with a bid valued at $111 billion in order to buy 100% of Warner Bros. Discovery. This is significantly higher than the initial $82.7 billion agreement between Netflix and WBD announced in December last year. Netflix refused to offer more and Paramount will need to wait for the final verdict from international regulatory agencies and the US DoJ.
