With the iPhone 17e just around the corner, industry murmurs have pointed at several new exciting features for Apple's upcoming budget smartphone. However, a high-refresh rate display, which many would have hoped for, is almost definitely not on the table.

Most people don't care about 120Hz display, so it can't be a "rip-off in 2026"...

Well, high-refresh rate displays stopped being a "flagship" feature long ago.
Not having it on a $599 smartphone is definitely far from ideal.

Considering you can get a 120 HZ display at the sub-$300 mark now, there's no excuse.
