Title: Steam Deck availability hit hard by RAM and storage crisis
Post by: Redaktion on February 17, 2026, 10:36:01
As per official confirmation, Valve is now also affected by the current RAM and storage crisis. Consequently, the Steam Deck is no longer available, at least depending on the model variant. The affordable entry-level model has already been discontinued and is currently no longer in stock.

I can think of one such example.

In the last several months or so, quite a few old retro games have had their source released. Why is this happening now? Maybe the execs at these publishers are starting to realise that holding onto old dead IPs is kinda a lost cause / has no meaning after seeing Jensen abandon gaming and making trillions from AI.

(Talking specifically about UT2004 and C&C Generals Zero Hour)
