So, another shintel hype is over - at the beginning it was supposed to be at the level of 5070 and in the end it doesn't even reach 4050!
I'm already looking forward to the trumpist "geniuses" who will start defending PL laptops for more than 2000 USD, with graphics performance (and at the same time CPU performance) LOWER than a laptop for 1200-1300 USD! :)))

Literally never. Intel themselves said to expect the performance around the 4050. Tom Petersen himself said it, in fact, and that was in the first half of 2025.
Sorry, 5050...but anyway, it is weaker, even than the 4050.
Silly Fanboi's and Anti-Fanbois... LOL!!! Team Blue just can't win.
- not enough performance!
- uses to much power!
Gee while some of us are still making use of our GTX1050 equipped devices and AMD has generally done WAY BETTER in the performance/watt sector all across the board Intel comes out with some APU's that MIGHT actually be kinda-sorta attractive & useful.
Forgetting that the PS5-Pro was going to run "circles around" a Nvidia xx70 series DGPU (as in DESKTOP GPU) as well as a few other AMD offerings (as reported by some hype sites and talking heads), team blue does have a habit of being overly optimistic about the performance of their products.
Bottom line: I'm I going to run out and buy one? Nope. I have more systems than most times know what to do with. I'm not shopping for something new.
However this DOES offer some competition to Team Red and we can hope that the two companies will continue to push APU's with kinda-sorta-usable iGPU's inside down the product stack into more and more affordable packages and devices.
