The Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro have passed a key hurdle before being released globally. Unlike their Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra counterparts, Xiaomi's new high-end tablets will be available internationally with the same hardware as in China.

Let's hope the matte screen version will easier to find, last time around I had to buy max specced Mi Pad 7 Pro Matte Glass. It was soooo very $xp$$$$$$nsiv$, all I wanted is entry level Mi Pad 7 with matte screen.
