Microsoft is pivoting engineering teams to a new "swarming" model to fix Windows 11 performance and reliability issues after a wave of buggy 2026 updates.

They want to shove AI everywhere, when Windows isn't even capable of finding a file based on its content (like Spotlight on Mac)...

At this point, they would be better off just dropping all Windows 10/11 codewise, grab Windows 8.1 and start building from there instead.
