An article with a headline that says 'prices' and not a single price is mentioned in the whole article.
Nevermind the article does not show it on mobile the prices columnn is cut off.
That's because the table is probably too wide for the mobile view. Just rotate your device to landscape mode. ;)
I might have been in the market for a Panther Lake laptop, but almost all vendors either use headache and eyestrain inducing OLED (240 Hz PWM, lol) or dogshit low resolution IPS displays.
What is wrong with:
- high-res togglable MiniLED (for HDR)
- or even high-res quality quick-response IPS panels
Also their stuff is really overpriced, 2399 EUR for a laptop without a dedicated GPU? hahaha yeah. ok.
this makes apple laptops look cheap and good-bang-for-your-buck.
The article is completely wrong. These are not the actual launch prices, we all know they will have RRP for book 6 pro intel ultra x7 for around £1600. They will not list at these prices. Korean prices for example were almost £2k for the base spec book 6 pro. Different markets Different prices but there is a ton of competition in the sub £1800 market so Samsung will not enter at those prices as it is completely outside their normal pricing structure.
Bottom firing speakers in a laptop has to be treated as a crime.
The new laptops look promising for sure! I'm surprised they only come with a 2MP web cam though, in 2026!?

Just wait for actual reviews. Huawei already uses a high ~3 kHz PWM in their premium laptops, and they are fantastic. There's no way Samsung will ignore this.
This is after all the Asian market and when a major player like Huawei acknowledged the issue and provided a solution, it set a standard. And the information is right there: on their premium laptop product pages, presented clearly and consumer-friendly for all to see.
Why there is no Ethernet port on huge 16" Ultra and PRO! versions?! Only on a budget.. Like if you are using Pro laptop for Pro work - you are expected to always have a usb-c dongle in your pocket? What kind of sense is that? Or Ethernet port just makes laptops look less premium?
1.24 kg on the pro??? that is way to heavy! first dell, now samesung...
