In this second part of the series, we take a closer look at Asus gaming laptops. The open-source alternative this time is called G-Helper. While Asus Armoury Crate weighs in at a staggering 4 GB, G-Helper comes in at a ridiculous 5 MB — yet remains extremely powerful.

For the record, GHelper can change Visual Modes/Color Profiles/Screen Gamut. If that is not shown for you, make a bug report on github with details about your laptop and it will be added.

I'm surprised there aren't more open source alternatives haven't started popping up for other OEMs. Like a version of Lenovo vantage or whatever they use on their legion laptops and for MSI, dell, Acer, HP, Gigabyte software too.
