In an interview on The Verge's Decoder podcast, Tan positioned Razer's investment, including plans to hire 150 AI engineers and to push branded AI features like dedicated mouse buttons and a Razer.ai hub, as a bet that practical, developer-focused AI will outlast the current hype and gamer backlash.
