Chinese automotive giant BYD is starting 2026 with a massive overhaul. The company is significantly extending the warranty on its Blade battery, effective immediately, and retroactively for existing vehicles. At the same time, the Chinese automaker is reporting new production records and announcing extremely fast charging speeds and new premium models for the European market.

That's a pretty great move.
BYD is gaining a lot of traction in Europe, especially in Spain.
High quality, reliable, no subscription nonsense, not overly expensive...
