Shortly after Asus exited the smartphone market, OnePlus reportedly faces the same fate. Following a "bloodbath" at Realme, the OnePlus smartphone brand is expected to be shut down as sales figures are in freefall and supposedly no longer justify the development costs.

I have an OP12 that I generally like although not thrilled with OxygenOS. Only reason I bought was for the camera which is excellent (I'm a photographer). Oppo actually killed the brand by ending the Hasselblad partnership. Lame, greedy product management.
