The GB operator isn't necessarily a tool to just play the cartridge versions of games on. It's also a tool used to edit and manage save files, export and import data and even to mess with game files on. To say using this tool or the GB operator as a means to eliminate rom files is so... Silly. It's a complete regression in thinking when it comes to where we're at in video game preservation and archiving.
I'm pretty sure 90%+ of the buyers use it just for gaming with their cartridges... No need to insult the author just because you have a different opinion.
Eliminating the need for roms? So you're saying it's way more convenient to have a bulky peripheral sticking out of your Deck that can only hold one game at a time, and only the ones you own, instead of having every SNES game ever made right on your Deck and easy to play, with more features than physical cartridges?
