Long-lost NES RPG Indy The Magical Kid has resurfaced after decades in obscurity, with newly released VHS-captured gameplay footage showcasing its spell-mixing system, turn-based combat, and distinct Dragon Quest-meets-Earthbound aesthetic. The seven-minute video, published by preservationists with the blessing of the original creators, offers the clearest look yet at the nearly complete 1993 project that vanished before release.

It would be great to see footage or a prototype surface of another game from the same publisher: Blunders or Branders on the PC Engine CD, a cyberpunk RPG with some really nice character designs. I'm not holding my hopes high but we did get the Splatterhouse RPG last year and someone even translated it within months so maybe this year would be even better for unreleased games.
