Title: Trading efficiency for optional 5G and Lunar Lake for Arrow Lake: Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 laptop review
Post by: Redaktion on December 24, 2025, 00:45:20
We already tested the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13, but only the model with Intel Lunar Lake and the OLED screen. Many customers are asking: What about the Arrow Lake version with IPS display, which is often cheaper and more readily available? We have tested it, to see what the differences are.

Thought I saw 16 RAM marked with the yellow color indicator recently. In any case, 16 GB RAM will have problems fitting the Gpt-Oss-20b LLM (12.1 GB to 13.5 GB, depending on the quant), because the OS needs RAM too.

1950 bucks for 16 GB soldered RAM: It may age like milk.

So true.

How is a business user supposed to do any work on this thing when they can't generate cat meme images as quickly?

It can't generate terminal based ASCII art at all?

Yikes. All that extra memory usage and still can't do actual work. That is tragic.
