Title: $39.99 to $0: Immersive simulator DLC is now free to claim on both Steam and Epic Games
Post by: Redaktion on December 23, 2025, 12:37:49
Train Sim World 6 players can claim the Spirit of Steam Liverpool Lime Street to Crewe route DLC free on Steam and Epic for a limited time. It adds classic steam trains and a UK route, but requires the base game to play.

QuoteIf you already own TSW6, it's a straightforward "Get/Add to account" click. If not, you can still claim and keep it until you decide to purchase the game in the future.
no you cant, there is no buy button to get this (without purchased base game)..?

Hey!

I tried it on my personal Steam account, and I was able to add it to my account without any issue.

The message reads as follows:

"SUCCESS!
Train Sim World® 6: Spirit of Steam: Liverpool Lime Street - Crewe Route Add-On is now registered to your account on Steam.

To access your new content, simply launch this product from your Library on Steam."

What region are you based in, if you don't mind me asking?

It worked for me as well; I don't own it on Steam or Epic Games, I tried it using the mobile app, it wouldn't let me claim it: I tried on the PC app and it worked as described. Epic Games however, wouldn't let me without the base game. I live in the USA.
