Title: Dead Space creator Glen Schofield calls EA & Activision’s post‑acquisition era “bittersweet” in interview

Veteran game director Glen Schofield reflects on his decade at EA and Activision, describing the post‑acquisition transformations of both publishers as "bittersweet" and a marked departure from their roles as rigorous, developer‑shaping powerhouses. In a candid LinkedIn post, he contrasts EA's disciplined, structured review culture with Activision's intense, freewheeling creative debates, arguing that recent ownership shifts signal the end of an era for talent development in AAA game publishing.

I don't know if it's just arrogance, numb inside to failure, or just feeling privileged, but... it seems like Glen needs to huddle up with a professional or a priest so he could truly accept that... no reasonable mind cares about his opinions due to all of his failures, especially how things ended with The Callisto Protocol.

Glen just needs to hush, seriously, and just retire, fully. No wise publisher or partner will take a risk with him on anything in the future, if that's his angle here with all his social stuff lately.

No, Glen, not enough time has gone by for folks to not remember your recent failures.
